In 2023, energy consumption per 1 million sales was reduced by 2.36% compared to the previous year. Additionally, in the food production section, a 10m³ gas fuel tank was introduced to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions.
Clean water and sanitation
CU branches have enhanced hygienic sanitary services and implemented measures to reduce water consumption by 50% through improved systems and practices.
Gender equality
70% of all employees are women, while 30% are men. Examining the gender ratio at the management level, female employees make up 52% at the primary and middle management level.
Quality education
Premium Nexus JSC is committed to providing opportunities for female employees to develop their management and leadership skills. As part of this commitment, 74.36 percent of training participants in 2023 were women.
Good health and well being
In 2024, Premium Nexus JSC is working with a total of 21 food preparation suppliers, of which 52% have HACCP certification.
Zero hunger
In 2024, CU branch stores serve approximately 200,000 customers daily, selling over 80,400 prepared meals. Across the network, 44.8% of the meals sold are produced by the CU food factory, while 55.2% are supplied by domestic food manufacturing companies.
No poverty
